Our client, a leading organization within the agricultural sector, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the full operational, commercial, and people management functions of their Agriculture Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving branch performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with farmers and industry stakeholders.

 

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Full branch management including operations, sales, administration, stock control, and financial oversight Lead, mentor, and manage branch staff to ensure high performance and service excellence Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share within the agricultural community Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and industry partners Ensure accurate stock management, procurement, and inventory controls Manage budgets, financial reporting, and branch profitability Oversee compliance, health & safety, and company policies Drive customer satisfaction through professional service delivery and technical product knowledge

 

Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) essential; relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Business Management, or similar advantageous Minimum 5 years’ experience in branch management within the agricultural sector Strong knowledge of agricultural products, inputs, and farming operations Proven leadership, staff management, and operational control experience Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship‑building skills Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required
