Introduction Worldwide Staffing is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take full onsite ownership of a key industrial contract in Nasrec, Johannesburg. This is a site-based, hands-on role where you will manage daily operations, assignee compliance, client relations, and service delivery. You will lead a team of supervisors and act as the primary link between the client, assignees, and Worldwide Staffing head office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented manager who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally demanding temporary employment services (TES) environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the correct headcount of pre-approved staff is placed daily per shift, including weekends and during strike situations Obtain and file signed order confirmations (OCs), applicable rates, and flag contract end dates Screen candidates for valid IDs, driver’s licences, and foreign national compliance; support ETI objectives Select candidates for placement and overtime ethically, adhering to the Code of Business Conduct Deliver exceptional client service: conduct monthly meetings, keep minutes, resolve queries within 24 hours Deliver exceptional assignee service: monthly meetings, query resolution within 24 hours, schedule medicals/training, arrange transport Manage IODs (timeous reporting and paperwork), escalate disciplinary cases to IR, act as company IR representative when required Ensure all assignee files (IDs, contracts, disciplinaries, EEA1, qualifications) are on Contractor Zone and on site Check timesheets for correctness, client signatures, and alignment with payroll deadlines Manage PPE issuing and recovery; manage end-of-contract processes (notices, clock cards, UIF claims) Ensure all assignees are using the payslip app
KPIs:
Daily headcount compliance (including weekends and emergencies) 24-hour resolution of client and assignee queries 100% completion of monthly client and assignee meetings with minutes on file Zero payroll errors linked to timesheet mismanagement Full compliance on assignee files and site files) Timely IOD reporting and IR escalation Organic growth on the site through exceptional service delivery
Desired Experience & Qualification
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Site Manager, or Senior Operations Controller within the temporary employment services (TES) industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Strong knowledge of site-level compliance: FTCs, Annexure A, IOD reporting, disciplinary processes, and UIF claims Ability to manage daily headcount, shift allocations, and standby pools Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport Proficiency with timesheet verification, payroll deadlines Excellent client-facing communication and problem-solving skills Clear criminal record Matric / Grade 12 (relevant tertiary qualification advantageous)
