Data Reconciliation Coordinator (Fixed-Term contract)

Introduction Our client in the Wealth Management industry is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Reconciliation Coordinator to support a large-scale data cleanup and reconciliation project. This is a 6 month fixed -term contract. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and ensuring information is accurate and reliable.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Compare data across multiple live source systems and core databases. Identify missing, duplicate, inaccurate, or inconsistent records. Reconcile differences between datasets and validate data accuracy. Capture, update, and maintain information within internal systems. Perform basic data analysis and report on project progress, findings, and exceptions. Assist with data cleansing, standardisation, formatting, and transformation prior to data migration into core systems. Document findings and escalate discrepancies requiring further investigation. Maintain a high level of accuracy while working with large volumes of data.

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements

A qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, BCom Informatics, or a related field. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and methodically while managing deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Advantageous

Experience or exposure to any of the following would be beneficial but is not essential:

Power Query SQL Data analysis or reporting tools Data cleansing, migration, or reconciliation projects

Package & Remuneration R14k-16K depending on experience.
