The Mission: You will be responsible for providing and maintaining resilient Linux-based frameworks.
Your role involves managing the full ITSM lifecycle—Problem, Incident, and Change—for dedicated services.
You will ensure that all systems are encrypted and secure, maintain an up-to-date knowledge base, and assist the team in adhering to international operations standards to ensure maximum system uptime.
Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux clients, servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions. Apply system updates, patches, and security fixes as part of routine maintenance. Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Support compliance with security standards and company policies. Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS and Azure, as well as implement security controls and compliance requirements Track and update Jira user stories to ensure due dates are met Assist to ensure stability of systems and adherence of the team to Group’s Operations standards. Ensure quality and up to date content of the knowledge base for the sub-product Manage Problem, Incident and Change process for dedicated ITSM service Willing to do standby and work on weekends if needed Keep documentation up to date in all relevant systems (e. g. as is configuration CMDB/Application Instance Wizard, to be configuration Connect IT, knowledge database resolveIT) Attend and moderate operation meetings

Flexibility: Willingness to perform standby duties and work weekends when required to support system stability.
Essential Skills (Verified):
Proficiency with major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.) Strong command line and shell scripting skills (Bash Perl, Python) Installation and configuration of Linux desktop environments
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues User and permission management Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall) System monitoring and performance tuning Experience with package managers (apt, yum, rpm) Familiarity with Linux desktop environments (GNOME, KDE, XFCE) Remote support using SSH, VNC, RDP Backup and recovery procedures Application of security best practices (patching, firewalls, SELinux)
Advantageous Skills:
IT certifications (SUSE, Veritas Infoscale) are a plus. Knowledge of Agile Working Model Knowledge of Virtualisation technologies such as VMWare Knowledge of Private Cloud solutions Knowledge of Windows Server Knowledge of Dynatrace or Grafana Knowledge of Splunk Knowledge of containerization technologies such as podman, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift Basic knowledge of ITIL and PIC processes such as Problem-Incident-Change processes Basic knowledge of ServiceNow Tool and Processes
