Process Engineer (Financial Services) - Contract

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing, am improving business processes to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support digital transformation initiatives.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site.

Duties & Responsibilities

Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation Map and document end to end business processes using recognised methodologies Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather process requirements Design and implement improved operational processes within the financial services environment Ensure processes comply with regulatory and governance requirements Work closely with business analysts, IT Teams, and operational departments Support automation and digital transformation initiatives Monitor and measure process performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities Develop process documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Process Engineer Experience working within the financial services industry preferred Strong experience in process mapping and process improvement Experience with process engineering frameworks or methodologies Proven track record of delivering process improvement initiatives Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

 

Qualifications

Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management or related field Process Engineering certification preferred (Lean, Six Sigma or similar)

 

Additional Information

Contract:  12 months (high probability of renewal) Work Model:  Hybrid (minimum 3 days on-site
