Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum requirements· A minimum of a post graduate degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field. · A minimum of 10 years work experience in corporate communications, public relations or marketing, 3 of which should be at management level.· Knowledge and proven experience in formulating and implementing internal and external communications strategies, campaign development, brand management, events planning and execution, media relations and management of publications. Competencies · Deep knowledge of parliamentary procedure, public‑sector governance and political stakeholder dynamics.· Advanced expertise in external communications strategy, media relations management and editorial oversight.· Proven ability to craft governance‑aligned media content and risk‑mitigating responses under tight deadlines.· High emotional intelligence and executive‑level interpersonal influence.· Sound understanding of PFMA, King IV and the IDT Trust Deed.· Strategy development.· Campaign management.· Marketing.· Exceptional business communications skills.· Business planning.· Events management.· Brand management.· Media relations.· Publications management.· Website and intranet management.· Online media management.
